QuickSTAT announces global expansion plan to enhance its global network and cold chain logistics capabilities for life sciences
As part of an ongoing global expansion plan, QuickSTAT is making significant investments in its network and logistics capabilities to meet the evolving world of modern cold chain and the complex requirements of the industry.
The expansion will support QuickSTAT’s ongoing focus on customized logistics and transportation, and includes opening new QuickSTAT control towers and enhancement of existing facilities. There will be an emphasis on customer service capabilities to provide increased support in this increasingly complex environment. Temperature-controlled vehicles have been added to its fleet, providing additional Priority Ground Logistics Solutions.
Transportation experts specializing in Research/ Drug Development and Cold Chain Logistics from around the world have joined the QuickSTAT team, and will provide consultation on stringent regulatory compliance, specialized packaging, Dangerous Goods transport, as well as best solutions and routings, including solutions for emerging market areas.
As part of the expansion, a control tower in France has been opened to support clients in the region, and a control tower in the UK has been expanded, both designed for GDP quality. These QuickSTAT control towers will provide 24/7 transportation and logistics services, as well as in-transit storage for patient-clinical specimens, API, vaccines and investigational drugs, utilizing GDP principles and best practices. Investments in LATAM, APAC and Africa are under way.
