Quick has always been focused on managing the most complex logistics projects - making the impossible possible for clients around the world. We’ve also always been so proud of our incredible team of logistics professionals, who work closely with our clients to meet their tightest shipping deadlines. Each one of them has extensive experience and expertise to share. We wanted a way to bring you their knowledge and expertise and all that goes into delivering mission-critical logistics. And that’s how our new podcast, QuickConversations, was born.
Each episode of QuickConversations will focus on the many variables that go into keeping a global supply chain moving. And whatever the industry – from healthcare and life science to aviation, manufacturing and technology -- the Quick team will offer listeners the opportunity to hear first-hand how customers’ needs are always met, even during the most complex and demanding situations.
Quick Conversations kicks off with these three episodes:
Introduction: Welcome to Quick Conversations: In our first program, I sit down with our podcast’s host, Chris Riback, to provide listeners with an overview of our program and what they can expect in each episode.
Tech & IT in the Time of Coronavirus: Quick’s Mike LoRusso, Senior Vice President & General Manager of Quick Specialty Logistics, spoke with Chris on March 30th in New York City. As the city was trying to cope with being at the epicenter of the coronavirus, Mike shares what he and his team have been doing during this time to support the needs of business across many industries, including financial services, high-tech and healthcare.
Logistics that Save Lives: In this episode, Dave Murphy, Executive Vice President of Quick Specialized Healthcare Logistics, talks with Chris about a wide range of healthcare logistics topics. From the evolution of personalized medicine to delivering life-saving shipments during natural disasters or a global health crisis, this episode leverages Dave’s vast experience and delivers a wealth of insights.
We’re launching Quick Conversations during an unprecedented time – we are in the midst of a global pandemic, which has made logistics services for time-critical, life-saving and out-of-the-ordinary shipments more complex than ever. We want our customers to know that we are here for them. And we hope that this podcast provides you with the kind of information you can use, particularly now. Our goal today, as always, is to help you keep your business running -- getting your urgent shipments wherever they need to be, whenever they need to be there.
